PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Ointments which will take the "itch" and other discomfort away from insect bites or stings. All will work quickly and help you to ignore the sore (sting, bite, etc.). This will enable the irritation to heal faster. Here are the difference between the three packages. 1) Sting Relief Swabs: These come in a 10 pack of individually wrapped disposable "swabs". The ointment is in a vial which is capped by a swab like cotton. The swab is squeezed in the middle to enable the ointment to flow to the swab head when needed. The ointment has a slight color to it in the vial but it goes on clear and will dry clear. This package is ideal if you wish to distribute small doses to many people who want to carry their own first aid. It's just about odorless and fast acting and works well on any insect sting or bite. Each vial has about 2/10's of an ounce which is enough to treat one bite a few times. 2) Stinger Stopper Jar: This package is ideal for anyone wanting or needing a small package that "goes a long way". The jar is strong and can be carried easily. It will store the product indefinitely and has a large opening so even the biggest finger can get a small dab for applying it. Stinger Stopper does have a distinct yellow or mustard color which will be visible when applied and after it dries. Children seem to like this color and it is handy for letting you know where the product has been applied. But if you don't want any thing noticeable after being applied, opt for the Swabs. Each jar has about 1/2 oz which is enough to treat a bunch of stings or bites. 3) Stinger Stopper Tube: This package is big looking but it is mostly empty. There is 1/10-2/10's of an oz inside. The tube is opened but pulling off the tip which is designed for easy removal. The contents can then be "squeezed" to the top where it will come out in a thin bead. Apply small amounts where needed and then force the material back down to the bottom of the tube if you wish to save it once the tube is opened. The only disadvantage to this package is the tube is hard to store once open. Keep it in a zip lock to help prevent it from drying out prematurely. This will also keep it from leaking out where you store it during transport once the tube is open. Like the jar, this material is yellow in color and will be noticeable once applied. This video shows all three is detail so you can best decide which package will be best for your needs. WHERE TO USE IT: Feet, legs, arms, hands, neck, and any just about any exposed skin area which has received a bite or sting. For topical treatment only. Use any of these ointments for stings or bites from the following insects: Bees Wasps Mosquitoes Fleas Gnats No Seeums Hornets Lice Bedbugs Chiggers Itch Mites Yellow Jackets Dust Mites Fire Ants Kissing Bugs Stink Bugs Sand Flies Ticks Thrips Scorpions This video shows the Stinger Stopper being used after our subject is stung by fire ants.
